Samsung offers FREE 4K TVs and £600 discounts

Looking for a new telly? Your timing couldn’t be better as Samsung kickstarted an incredible promotion on its online store, with discounts of £600 available and a free 32-inch The Frame TV (worth £399) bundled with your new purchase. Yes, really – you can get a buy one, get one free with your next television.

What about the small print? As you might expect, Samsung is only offering its generous free gift with its top-tier televisions, so you won’t be able to buy a new TV that costs less than The Frame and get the 4K QLED model for free. Thankfully, you can get a discount of between £50 – £600 when you trade-in an old television when buying a new one.

Brilliantly, Samsung doesn’t determine the discount based on the condition, model or brand of the old television you’re trading in – instead, it’s based solely on the Samsung TV you’re looking to buy.

So, those who want to take the plunge with its flagship Neo QLED 8K TVs will get the maximum £600 off applied to their order, while those who want to buy a more modest Neo QLED 4K TV will receive £500 discount. OLED TVs enjoy a £400 discount, and you’ll even get £50 off when you buy one of the remaining Neo QLED 4K televisions from last year (2021) still available at a discounted price in the Samsung online store.

What about the telly you’re trading in? Well, you don’t need to worry about that. Samsung says it will accept TVs of any brand, any age, and in any condition. Samsung will responsibly recycle your old television, which means you don’t need to worry about your old electronics harming the planet.

If you opt for the trade-in offer, when Samsung delivers your new TV, the same team will collect the old TV and take it away for recycling free of charge. All you need to do is flag that you’ll be handing over an old television at checkout and Samsung will apply the discount to your new television then and there! No inspection, no refund through the post, simple.

Samsung offers interest-free monthly repayments on any of the televisions that you might be looking to buy as part of this deal. Repayments can be spread-out between 12 months and up to 36 months, so you can slowly pay back the cost of the telly with low monthly bills.

For those who don’t know, The Frame, the QLED television available for free with a number of the latest telly deals from Samsung, is designed to blend seamlessly into the décor in your home. When not in-use, The Frame can transform into a famous painting or family photo so that it looks like – yup, you’ve guessed it – a photo frame.

Samsung allows you to customise the look of The Frame with different borders, including a wooden or aluminium bezel in a choice of 40 colours.

While The Frame arrives with a 4K Ultra HD resolution (that’s 4x the number of pixels packed into a standard 1080p HD television) so you’ll be able to see content from Sky Glass, Sky Q, Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV+ in the highest resolution available with these subscription services. The latest games consoles also support output in 4K Ultra HD too, so you’ll see the extra detail packed into you’re favourite blockbuster titles too.

Meanwhile, the latest Neo QLED 8K TVs offers 4x the resolution of 4K TVs for an immensely detailed picture. While there isn’t a whole lot of native 8K content available right now (you won’t find the latest season of Stranger Things, Clarkson’s Farm, or The Mandalorian premiering on streaming services in the pixel-packed format anytime soon) the upscaling technology baked into Samsung TVs will endeavour to boost the quality of existing 4K TV shows and blockbusters.
