Princess Charlene looked stunning on Friday, March 24, in a silver Akris dress. The royal posed beside her husband, but a body language expert claimed the couple looked a little tense.
“On the surface, almost as the official message from their body language, we have the couple adopting very regal poses,” Judi James told Express.co.uk.
“They are side by side and both very upright with slightly fixed social smiles on their faces, and with Charlene showing off her sheath dress with both arms down at her sides.
“There are some underlying signs of that looks like tension though.”
Judi went on to note which body language traits revealed this tension.

She said: “Charlene’s shoulders are very slightly hunched inward and this, with her rather softened eye expression, creates a slight air of vulnerability.
“Her left hand holds her clutch bag between their torsos, while her right looks curled as though she is or has been picking slightly at her nails or fingers.
“She seems to see Albert as a provider of support and he places his right arm around her back as though presenting to the public.
“It looks like the kind of encouragement gesture someone might do to someone who is shy.
“Despite Albert’s more confident pose, he is holding his right arm in a rather rigid way that suggests inner tension.
“This is a gesture that he has done a lot recently, with the hand moving to the front of his torso while his fingers touch against his trouser leg.”
Albert often looks a little more confident than Charlene during public engagements.
Judi previously told Express.co.uk that the Princess often “stands slightly behind her husband, appearing to avoid upstaging him”.

The Princess was glowing in an eye-catching silver dress by her favourite designer label, Akris.
The dress’ description on the Akris website read: “Akris gown embellished in allover sequins with a Mock neckline.”
The garment had an invisible back zip, and was sleeveless and floor-length, creating the perfect silhouette for Princess Charlene. In addition, the dress has a side slit to add to the glamour of the whole outfit.
This curve-shaping jersey dress was an incredibly show-stopping outfit for Princess Charlene, with shimmering all-over sequins, a mock neck, and a thigh-high side split.
