The US Food and Drug Administration expanded the authorizations for the vaccines Friday to include children as young as 6 months. However, shots can’t be given until the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s vaccine advisers have voted on whether to recommend them – a vote is scheduled for Saturday – and CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky has signed off on that recommendation. Two people have been arrested after a teenage boy was stabbed to death minutes away from Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium in north London.Police were called just after midday on Saturday to reports of a stabbing in Orchard Place, Tottenham, where they tried to save the 17-year-old’s life.Despite the efforts of officers and paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.Detectives appealed for witnesses and information, and have arrested two males in connection with the stabbing.The boy’s family is being informed, police said.
