With spring in full swing, retailers are competing to bring shoppers the best prices on fashion for the new season.
Online fashion giant ASOS has launched a sale with over 40,000 items reduced by up to 70 percent.
Amazon’s spring sale starts at 6pm and also includes savings on fashion items, but ASOS has got a head start by launching early.
The up to 70 percent ASOS sale is set to rival Amazon with the savings too, as Amazon’s discounts are only up to 40 percent.

Although the sale is not across the entire site, it features over 40,000 items, with the homeware, accessories, jewellery and face and body sections included alongside big discounts on fashion.
The sale includes own brands, high street brands, and high-end brands, plus regular ASOS shoppers can check their saved items to see if anything they’ve been looking to purchase has been reduced.
Lots of ghd hair tools are included in the sale, with savings of up to 20 percent. The popular ghd Original Hair Straightener is one of the staple tools from the brand, and is reduced from £129 to £110, plus it’s been marked as ‘selling fast’. The more recently released ghd Glide Smoothing Hot Brush is reduced from £159 to £135.50.
In the Face and Body section, skincare lovers can save on the Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter, and those looking to add to their makeup collection can save 20 percent off a Matte Revolution Lipstick from rarely-discounted brand Charlotte Tilbury.
With spring in mind, the outerwear section of the sale is huge, with jackets starting from just £7, including a Whistles coat for just £40.50, reduced from £179.
For anyone shopping for a classic trench, the Pimkie trench coat in brown check is reduced by over 50 percent to £35 and is ideal for the new season.
Due to the popularity of ASOS’ site, sizes can sell out quickly, and stock can take a while to replenish, so shoppers will need to be quick to take advantage of sale prices.
The ASOS sale ends at 8am on Monday April 3, so there’s plenty of time to shop and to look out for any new additions too.
