A Northern Territory police officer has resigned after breaking COVID-19 border management guidelines.

The 27-year-old Alice Springs officer was with a gaggle of 5 individuals who crossed the border.

The person and his spouse, in addition to a 3rd particular person, have been slapped with a $5000 fantastic for failing to declare they’d been to a COVID-19 hotspot.
