New cost over freeway crash which killed 4 cops in Melbourne


One other individual has been arrested over the deaths of 4 cops in Melbourne in April.

A 49-year-old man from Frankston was arrested this morning in Lyndhurst.

“He’s presently aiding police with their enquiries and the investigation stays ongoing,” Victorian Police stated in an announcement.

The tragedy occurred on the Jap Freeway at Kew on April 22.

Main Senior Constable Lynnette Taylor, Senior Constable Kevin King and Constables Glen Humphris and Josh Prestney had been killed when a truck struck them after a Porsche was stopped on April 22.

Porsche driver Richard Pusey allegedly fled the scene and likewise faces a number of expenses.

A mortgage dealer, Mr Pusey allegedly took images and movies of the scene earlier than he fled on foot,
